	Scott Buck, M.D. Dr. Scott Buck is a native of Indiana. He is a Board Certified Comprehensive Ophthalmologist and with his father, Co-founded the Northwest Indiana Eye & Laser Center where he performs Laser Eye Surgery including LASIK, Custom Lasik Eye Surgery, and other types of Lasik Eye Surgery in Valparaiso, Indiana. Dr. Buck completed his surgical training at The Ohio State University. While there Dr. Buck performed hundreds of surgical procedures and was the first resident surgically trained in LASIK and Lasik Eye Surgery procedures. Dr. Buck's research involved expanding the uses of LASIK Surgery instruments by applying them to corneal transplantation techniques. Dr. Buck's duties also included the education of medical students, optometry students and other medical doctors in the field of ophthalmology. After graduating from Valparaiso Indiana High School in 1989 Scott Buck, M.D. received a Bachelor of Science and a Doctorate of Medicine from Indiana University, where research interests and his father's influence led him to Ophthalmology. Upon returning to Indiana, Dr. Buck established the Northwest Indiana Eye & Laser Center to provide Laser Eye Surgery including LASIK and Custom LASIK in Indiana. Dr. Buck is a comprehensive Ophthalmologist. He provides cataract surgery in Indiana using presbyopia correcting intraocular lenses (IOL) such as the ReSTOR Lens Implant to replace bifocals and reading glasses as well as providing patient care for glaucoma, eyelid surgery, eye muscle surgery and diabetic laser eye surgery as well as Laser Eye Surgery including LASIK and Custom Lasik. For patients who suffer from extreme nearsightedness he is experienced with phakic lens implants such as the Verisyse Phakic Intraocular Lens.
	Stephen Buck, O.D. Dr. Stephen R. Buck practices optometry in Valparaiso, Indiana. In 26 years of experience he has specialized in all forms of contact lens wear and refractive surgery management. He has extensive experience in managing presbyopia and helping patients with their near vision correction through the use of progressive addition lenses and bifocal contact lenses. Dr. Buck has managed PRK and LASIK surgery patients in Indiana since 1995. After graduating from Valparaiso High School in 1968 he received his Bachelors degree and Doctorate of Optometry from Indiana University. His research interests were in corneal thickness response to hard gas permeable contact lens wear. Upon return to his hometown of Valparaiso, Indiana he quickly established a very successful optometric practice and has been named Northwest Indiana's #1 optometrist. Dr. Stephen Buck currently serves on the Center Township Board of Trustees and is actively involed in numerous community services. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Northwest Indiana Optometric Society. Dr. Buck, with his son Scott, an ophthalmologist, is a co-founder of the Northwest Indiana Eye & Laser Center.
